About the project
Apwoyo Abba was recorded live at a worship night in a round hall, with the congregation gathered around the musicians. A live recording has to work twice: for the people in the room and for the audio and video captured for later.
Jotek designed the lighting, ran the live sound and recorded the performance. Green and blue lighting set the atmosphere in the hall, our engineer mixed the band and singers from the rack and a tablet, and audio and video were captured throughout the night.
